Looking to the Future: Healthcare Workers Conference gathers prospective and current nurses, PSWs, and healthcare professionals to engage with the trajectory of healthcare in Eastern Ontario. The conference focuses on long-term care models where the workers, families, facilities, and the community are holistically involved in elder care, identifying the dynamics at play to advocate for patients’ needs.

Focusing on nursing and PSW topics, the workshops and speaker series will facilitate conversation and action surrounding the cultural and social innovation within healthcare systems and services. Following the panels, our job fair will connect healthcare workers to employers across Eastern Ontario.

The Healthcare Workers Conference offers a platform where the involved community and healthcare workers advocate and effect intersectional and empathetic change in the elder care system.
